Cognitelligent RADAR

Doppler signals of a radar are used to filter moving objects from complicated background noise. For air surveillance radar, Doppler filtering can be relatively easy because targets move faster than the background noise.

For radars that detect moving vehicles on the ground or drones in the air, however, separating the Doppler signals of moving targets from background noise is considerably more difficult, mainly because their bandwidths overlap. In this situation, traditional methods can lead to frequent false alarms.

Radar pattern recognition (or radar machine learning), which recognizes patterns in received signals, has been researched and mastered by YOTASYS to overcome these limitations.
